The DJs of Radio Free Glenside
Charlie McHugh

Hello, my name is Charlie and I broadcast Radio Free Glenside from the junk room in my house in Glenside, PA. To start with, I would like to thank Al Gore for inventing the internet and allowing an outlet for my little online radio station. In my mind, I am a border radio DJ broadcasting 50,000 watts from Juarez, Mexico but in reality I just a guy who spends way to much time sitting in front of my computer in his underwear creating play lists filled with bands I read about in obscure magazines written by like minded music geeks. If you are a like minded fool who gets a little too excited about Magnet Magazine's new music samplers please check Radio Free Glenside out. Feel free to email me at charlie@radiofreeglenside.com with any questions.

Ginger McHugh

Ginger is the supportive wife who helps Charlie fulfill his dream of sitting around in his underwear fooling around with the computer. Ginger often masquerades with the code name "The Art Department". The music played on RFG is diverse and most of it is pretty cool, although some of it can get a little too strange for my taste. I will always give my blunt and honest opinion about the music in our ridiculous newsletter. I don't have an exciting list of bands to insert here, since my DJ Jazzy Hubby already did that. When I am not assisting with my many radio station obligations, personal appearances and ribbon-cuttings, I can be found in "Art Department Meetings" with other assorted RFG miscreants and hangers-on.

Please fell free to email me at ginger@radiofreeglenside.com

John Connell

My name is John Connell and I am the newest addition to the RFG team. Mostly, I just take my cue from the big man, Chaz McHugh and provide some of the music and technical know how that helps keep RFG running like a well oiled machine. I grow up rough in the Lacey Park homes in Warminster, PA. Then I heard the music of RFG and was saved. Being a part of the Radio Free Glenside team helped me leave the thug life and fulfill my life long dream of playing the Jerome role to Charlie's Morris Day.

My interests are kite boarding, tantra and the poetry of Sylvia Plath. Please feel free to email me at connell@radiofreeglenside.com.
